This is where my house should be.
Build it here, so I can see
where God's glory does abound,
with His creation all around.
The things that God made for me
are for all mankind to see
that He does reveal His grace.
In God's work, I can see His face.
Build my house without a wall,
like God did, so it won't fall.
Just build my house over there,
where I'll be wrapped in His care.
It matters not where I live,
but how I love, what I give,
and how I face each new day.
The house I build will pass away.
Just build my house where you please ~
on a hill, or by the seas.
God is there. Someday I'll see
The home that Jesus built for me.
