Jesus is Lord of my life,
followed
next by my loving wife.
Then
come the children that God gave,
in
whom we live after the grave.
We
have a home where we can live,
and
much more love than we can give.
This
is the day I pledge to you
my
love will be forever true.
When
two hearts love one another,
they
will not seek any other.
From
the day that we are wed,
I
shall not leave our wedding bed.
From
this day on you’ll be my wife,
while
I still have the breath of life.
All
that I have I’ll gladly share
As
long as you are living there.
This
is my pledge, this is my vow:
I
will love you as I do now.
I
will provide a place for you
as
long as God allows me to.
When
that day comes and breath is gone,
my
love for you will linger on.
If
God permits it from above,
then
I will send each day my love.
I want
to share my life with you…
…the
things we build, and what we do.
I
want to love and hold you near,
smile
with you, and calm your fear.

When
I am called to heaven’s shore,
then
I will love you even more.
Until
the day you join me there,
our
mountain home is in your care.

I
want you with me through the years…
…through
happy times, and times of tears.
I
want you with me all my life,
And
so I take you for my wife.
