Sunrise

I saw the sunrise, pink and blue,
and I thought, my Dear, of you.
I thought of love that feels so right.
and holding you through the night.

"Hello, Darlin'," echoes to me
and makes me wish that I could see
that smile that means you're in my arms
with your beauty and your charms.

Your constant love pours over me,
... a sign of things yet to be.
Where love is faithful beauty stays,
and shall remain for all days.

The day goes by, and sun will set.
