The Jesus Way

Start every day the Jesus way.

Spend time with God. Take time to pray.

When troubles come, as they will do,

your time with God will see you through.

When things pile up to push and prod,

it's time to spend some time with God.

The Lord is watching, always there.

He will listen to your prayer.

When your goal seems too far away,

then it is time to stop and pray.

The time you spend knelt in prayer

Strengthens your faith to get you there.

When all your days are slipping by

and you have lost the will to try,

then more than ever you should pray,

and God, Himself, will show the way.

When your future is looking bleak,

He'll help you when you're tired and weak.

When all your fertile fields are dry,

and it has come your time to die

then you lie down for final sleep,

and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.

Your greatest thrill will come, my Friend,

when you see the Lord say, "Amen".
